Acceptance of terms
By using the myliahona.app website — including signing up for SMS launch notifications or email updates — you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or these features. These Terms apply to the marketing website only. Use of the My Liahona application itself is governed by the application's own terms at app.myliahona.app/terms.
What My Liahona is
My Liahona is an independent AI study companion designed for members of the LDS community. It is not an official product of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It is intended to support gospel study, lesson preparation, and personal reflection.
SMS messaging program (Twilio)
By submitting your phone number on this site, you consent to receive a confirmation text and must reply 'YES' to subscribe to a launch alert SMS message from My Liahona notifying you when the application launches on your selected platform(s). Consent is not a condition of any purchase or ability to download. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency: typically one message per platform launch. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message; you can reply HELP for assistance, or contact us through our contact page. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We will not share your phone number or SMS opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. SMS service is provided in the United States and other regions where supported by Twilio.
Email updates (Resend)
By submitting your email address, you consent to receive occasional emails from My Liahona about new features, study tools, and mobile app launches. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
AI limitations
My Liahona uses AI, which can produce incomplete, incorrect, or misleading responses. Users are responsible for verifying important information with scripture, trusted sources, and appropriate leaders. My Liahona is not a substitute for personal revelation, scripture study, prayer, or the guidance of the Holy Ghost.
Appropriate use
Users agree to use this site and the My Liahona service for lawful, faith-respectful purposes. The service should not be used to generate content that is harmful, deceptive, abusive, or contrary to good faith principles. You agree not to submit phone numbers or email addresses you are not authorized to enroll.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The site and SMS/email programs are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, My Liahona is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site, the SMS program, or email updates.
Changes to service or terms
We may update or change the site, the SMS or email programs, or these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state of residence of My Liahona's operator, without regard to conflict of laws principles.
